His academy has had an impact on the dance development of renowned artists. Marín excelled at developing artists of stature such as Lalo Tejada, Currillo de Bormujo, Carmen Ledesma, Fernando Romero, María Pagés, Isabel Bayón, Hiniesta Cortés, Rafael Campallo, Adela Campallo, Isabel López, and others.

Manuel Betanzos has the same noble ambitions as his predecessor, Manolo Marin. Manuel has also inherited Manolo's valuable philosophy of training artists insisting on their committ and making them strive to excellence.
